Dapo Oyebanji popularly known as  ‘D’banj’ has signed to his new (yet unnamed) record label the fast rising pop star David ‘Davido‘ Adeleke
The signing took place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the 19-year-old’s house in Lekki after a five-man meeting involving D’banj, his manager Abisagboola ‘Bankulli’ Oluseun, Davido, his manager Asa Asika and father Deji Adeleke.
After the signing, both acts and their crew members then headed out to the weekly Industry Nite at the Oriental Hotels, Lagos, to celebrate.
D'banj is a very sharp badt guy. Nice move bro....He knows that Davido is an artiste that will stay on top the game for some years to come.
Nice combination, they'll complement themselves. I hope that this whole thing will not degenerate to un-necessary/un-healthy competition which may finally end up ruining their relationship.
                                                                                  

LOUISE PRIDDY STEPPED ASIDE FROM FAMILY BUSINESS

Louise Priddy has been missing in action at Bacchus Night Club which brought her fame and fortune?
According to what we gathered, Louise has stepped aside from management functions at the celebrity hangout. Findings showed that she only appears at the Awolowo Road Ikoyi Lagos sited home of fun once in a while and for leisure purposes only.

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg wed longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan on Saturday, announcing the nuptials through a status update on the social networking site.
 The 28-year-old billionaire's wedding took place a day after Facebook's initial public offering on the Nasdaq stock exchange on Friday. More than 280,000 people "liked" Zuckerberg's status change, which was accompanied by a photo of the smiling couple in wedding attire in a small, verdant outdoor setting with a string of lights behind them.
In the photo, the famously casual Mark is wearing a dark blue suit and tie, a departure from his trademark "hoodie," while Priscilla wore a sleeveless white dress with lace overlay.
 Mark, Time magazine's Person of the Year in 2010, started Facebook in his Harvard University dorm room eight years ago, before dropping out of the Ivy League school. Priscilla just graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. The couple met while at Harvard.

DONNA SUMMER DIES AGED 63

Disco legend Donna Summer has died after a lengthy cancer battle. The five-time Grammy Award winning singer, best known for iconic 70s hits such as Hot Stuff, Bad Girls and I Feel Love, was 63 years old.

Summer had been keen to keep the extent of her illness under wraps, and was focused on finishing a new album prior to her death this morning in Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Sudano, three daughters and four grandchildren.
